FAQ

1. What is a OTS Map?

An OTS Map(Off-The-Self) is a ECU Calibration that is created for a general market of cars with select parts installed. They allow the car to be driven after installing parts.

2. Whats included in the SubiOTS Purchase?

Our OTS maps will come with step by step instructions, 2 separate fuel maps(91 & 93), and a burble version for each fuel type.

3. Are there any revisions included?

There will be no revisions included with the purchase of our O T S maps. Revisions are for customers that order directly from a tuner for a custom tune. All of our ots maps have been tested on hundreds of cars and operate properly, as long as everything is mechanically good on the car.

4. Is there any information about Burble?

Burble will be at add on to the purchase. We will say that each car will respond differently to the burble. It will depend on your exhaust setup on the car. Some cars might have louder pops and longer pops, while some do not. There is also a chance of some cars producing flames.

5. What happens if I have issues with the O T S map?

You can always contact us via email, and we will try to figure out what's going on. The maps have all been tested on hundreds of cars at this point that were mechanically good, and we know that they work. If there is something mechanically wrong with the car, then obviously that will cause issues with our maps.

6. What's the point of having a O T S map?

Ideally, the OTS maps are for customers to have a cheaper alternative to a tune after installing selected parts on their car. One of the first mods that customers install on their car is intake systems, but running that on the wrong tune can cause the car to run very rich or very lean. ROTS maps are here to fix that issue. With that said, You should know that ots maps are just. something temporary and that you should always. aim to buy a custom tune from a tuner. That way you can make sure that the car is fully dialed in.

7. What is the power and torque increase?

Why will our OTS maps may provide a slight power in torque increase. That is not the main priority here. Those that want increased power and torque should look towards getting a custom tune for the car. That way a tuner can actually tune the car and dial it in improperly instead of running a generic map that is made for A wide variety of cars.
